Make the design by loading your vinyl onto the mat into the machine and pressing go.
Transferring vinyl to wood cricut.
Once you have the transfer tape on use a scraper tool or an old gift card to scrape over the design to make sure the transfer tape is adhering to the vinyl nice and tight.
Then weed away all excess htv.
Pick a design and cut out of heat transfer vinyl using your cricut machine.
If you are using regular adhesive vinyl you can use transfer tape for the vinyl.
Iron each piece of vinyl on following the instructions from above on how to use iron on with wood.

Here are a few tips and tricks for adding heat transfer vinyl to wood.
As always you will want to mirror your design and cut with the good or shiny side down on the mat.
Htv on wood is a great solution if you want a special treatment like foil flock or glitter.
Apply the 651 vinyl as usual and then with a teflon sheet between your project and iron iron the decal for 10 15 seconds.
Press firmly and be sure that the design has attached to the transfer tape.
Use a pressing cloth or teflon sheet to help protect the wood around your design.
I ve used it on both stained sealed wood the large one and untreated wood as in the title image with no issues.
